The man on the wire.

"Are you ready yet Max" my assistant asked.

The Man On The Wire by Josh Bradbury
As I(Max )was getting ready to walk across to skyscrapers I thought to myself I can do this. I put my first foot on the long wire and heard everyone cheering a big rush of excitement it went through me like I just got shot out of a cannon, I was ready.

“Are you ready yet Max?”yeah just tying on my shoes here I come. I was too scared to look down at the people cheering so I just looked to the other side of the wire were people that were cheering. I  just checked that everything was secure then I held my  balance pole in front of me after that I thought to myself hope I make enough money to fund-raise for cancer. I am going to do this then I started walking the wind was howling like a crying wolf and the frost was biting my neck.

When I was nearly at the halfway mark I could see the fireworks in the distance and could just hear the faint cheering and I could smell the  fresh smell of hotdogs.  As I was going foot by foot I was getting closer to fundraising the money for cancer.  I  took another step my foot slipped and the next second I was in mid air falling to the ground,  I could hear everyone screaming. I was going as fast as a jet  through the air I thought I was going to die. As I was falling  I said my prayers then suddenly   I got swooped up and when I opened my eyes  I was hanging  off spiderman.  Everyone was cheering when we got to the closest balcony I said thank you then Spider man took going to save another person.  Then a reporter came and asked me how I was. I was ashamed that I didn't make the money for cancer but I have another big event walking across the grand canyon so I hope I can do that one.
